The BOIB published on 28 July the call for SOIB grants for self-employed individuals and companies with up to 9 workers. Applications can be submitted from 29 July until 30 September 2027.

The Official Bulletin of the Balearic Islands (BOIB) published on 28 July the call for grants "SOIB Opportunities for Employment for Qualified Persons in the Private Sector 2026-2027". The initiative, promoted by the SOIB and funded by resources from the Sectoral Conference on Employment and Labour Affairs, is aimed at self-employed individuals and companies wishing to incorporate qualified talent.

Eligible beneficiaries include self-employed workers or companies that do not have more than 9 employees. The grant covers labour costs, including the employer's contribution to Social Security, as well as management expenses incurred during the first year of employment.

The aid is intended to finance the hiring, through a full-time indefinite contract, of qualified individuals who are unemployed. The application period will be open from 29 July 2026 until 30 September 2027, both dates inclusive.

Once the grant has been awarded, beneficiaries will have 4 months, extendable to 6 for duly justified reasons, to formalise the contract for the qualified individual. The maximum completion date for the subsidised projects will be 30 June 2029.

For self-employed individuals and small businesses in Lloseta, this call represents an opportunity to incorporate qualified staff with direct financial support for labour and management costs. Applications will be processed through the usual SOIB channels.
