Seepoint Ópticas Jávea is organising a new edition of its Summer Photography Contest, with prizes such as sunglasses and a catamaran ride. The registration deadline is August 30.
Seepoint Ópticas Jávea has launched the 2026 edition of its Summer Photography Contest, an initiative that invites locals and tourists to capture the essence of Marina Alta. The competition, open to those over 18, seeks images that reflect the beauty of the region, from the coves of Benissa to the inland landscapes.
Participants can submit a single photograph in JPG, JPEG, or PNG format. To do this, they must follow Seepoint Ópticas Jávea on Facebook or Instagram and send the image to the email address recall@seepointopticas.com, indicating in the subject line "Summer Photography Contest 2026", along with the title and location where it was taken.
The submission deadline is August 30 at 23:59 hours. On August 31, the five finalist images will be announced, and the public will decide the winner through an open vote on the organisation's social media, which will remain active until September 6.
The first prize consists of a pair of sunglasses and a catamaran ride for two people with food and swimming in the coves of Jávea. The second place will also receive a pair of sunglasses. The two photographs that receive the most votes on Facebook and Instagram will be the winners.
With this initiative, Seepoint Ópticas Jávea continues to promote photography as a tool to highlight the landscapes and natural wealth of Marina Alta. The optician, located at Avenida del Pla, 125 in Jávea, offers free vision tests that include intraocular pressure measurement and retina photography.
