MediaMarkt has reduced the price of the De'Longhi La Specialista Arte super-automatic coffee machine from €599 to €349, a 41% discount that makes it one of the most aggressive deals of the year in coffee appliances.

The electronics chain MediaMarkt has launched an offer that has surprised the sector: the De'Longhi La Specialista Arte is now sold for €349, down from €599 until this week. The discount, exceeding 41%, makes this model a very attractive option for coffee lovers looking to transition from capsule coffee to freshly ground beans.

A barista machine for home with 8 grind settings

The De'Longhi La Specialista Arte is not a conventional coffee machine. It includes a stainless steel integrated conical grinder with 8 micrometric grind levels, allowing users to adjust the fineness of the grind to their taste. The 15-bar pump ensures a dense and persistent crema, while the Thermoblock system heats the water in seconds.

The model also incorporates the My LatteArt milk system, an adjustable steam wand that textures the milk to achieve silky microfoam, ideal for cappuccinos and lattes. It also includes a complete barista kit: professional tamper, doser, milk jug, and dosing funnel.

The machine offers 3 preconfigured recipes (espresso, americano, and hot water) and allows selection between 3 infusion temperature levels. The removable water tank has a capacity of 1.7 litres, sufficient for several cups in a row.

Strengths and weaknesses: total control versus noise

The main attraction of this coffee machine is the absolute control it offers over each extraction. Users can adjust the grind, temperature, and amount of coffee, allowing them to fully extract the nuances of any bean variety. The steam wand has received outstanding reviews for the quality of the foam.

However, not everything is advantageous. The machine is noisy during grinding, and the bean hopper is not double, so if you want to switch coffee (for example, to decaf), you have to empty the hopper. It is also not a silent model: the grinder is clearly audible in the kitchen.

Despite these details, the current price-to-quality ratio is hard to beat. For €349, few coffee machines offer such granular control over the extraction process.

Who is this offer for?

The De'Longhi La Specialista Arte is designed for coffee connoisseurs and purists who want to experiment with different types of beans and settings. It is also for those who value milk texture and want to prepare dairy drinks with professional foam. And, of course, for those looking for a durable appliance, as the steel chassis and quality materials promise a long lifespan.

The offer is available on the MediaMarkt website and in physical stores while stocks last. Given the discount, it is likely to sell out quickly. Interested customers can check availability online or visit their nearest store.

“With this 41% discount, it's almost a steal,” the company states in its press release.

For those who are undecided between capsules and beans, this offer could be the definitive push. The initial investment pays off with savings on capsules in the medium term, and the quality of the coffee, experts say, is incomparable.
