The Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Function has announced the call for 5,547 permanent positions during July, included in the Public Employment Offers for 2023 and 2024.

The Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Function has launched a massive public employment call: 5,547 permanent positions, corresponding to the IV Collective Agreement, which will be offered during the month of July. The news, released this Saturday, represents one of the largest public job offers in recent years for the General State Administration.

The positions come from the Public Employment Offers for 2023 and 2024, and are distributed in open competition and internal promotion. In total, 126 different specialties are offered, ranging from university degrees to basic Vocational Training. Candidates will be able to apply for a wide variety of positions, such as maintenance, nursing, driving, museum assistance, or even choir singers.

By ministry, Defence tops the list with 1,341 positions, followed by Interior (795), Ecological Transition (629), Inclusion (389), Culture (382), and Social Rights (348). The remainder is distributed among other departments. This distribution reflects the Government's priorities in areas such as security, defence, and ecological transition.

Among the most sought-after specialties are general maintenance (400 positions), driving road transport vehicles (387), and auxiliary nursing care (255). There is also room for more specific profiles: museum assistance (89 positions), graphic arts (57), physiotherapy (38), laboratories (36), kitchen management (30), hairdressing (10), and choir singers (5). This variety allows candidates with different educational backgrounds to find an opportunity.

Regarding academic requirements, groups M3, M2, and M1 require a university degree or higher, while groups E2 and E1 are aimed at graduates in intermediate and basic Vocational Training, respectively. Additionally, a specific call for 301 positions for people with intellectual disabilities has been included, within the professional group E0, specialty in complementary support tasks.

The Ministry reminds that all applications must be submitted electronically, using the official model 790. Interested parties should be attentive to the registration deadlines, which will open during the month of July. This call represents an opportunity for those seeking job stability in the public sector, with positions ranging from healthcare to cultural management.

For candidates, the key will be to prepare for the specific tests of each specialty, as competition will be high. The Administration seeks to fill accumulated vacancies from previous years, which explains the volume of positions. With this offer, the Government reinforces its commitment to public employment and the reduction of temporary contracts in the public sector.
