The Cali-based startup Menüpp is now operating in 10 countries across Latin America with 2,000 businesses and a SaaS model based on artificial intelligence to optimise pricing and analyse customer behaviour.
The Colombian startup Menüpp has reached 2,000 active restaurants on its platform, spread across 75 cities in 10 Latin American countries. Founded in 2021 in Cali, the company has evolved from a menu digitisation tool during the pandemic to a SaaS solution with integrated artificial intelligence.
Menüpp offers digital menus, reservations, and online orders, but its true differential value lies in the AI layer that processes operational data in real time. The platform analyses price elasticity, customer recurrence by geographical area, average ticket size, and abandonment rates of digital menus, turning each customer interaction into actionable data.
According to the company, restaurants can identify which dishes are viewed the most, which are abandoned in the cart, at what times there is the highest conversion, and how to adjust prices according to local demand. All of this is done without relying on transaction fees, as the business model is SaaS with recurring subscriptions.
This pure B2B approach differentiates Menüpp from other foodtech companies focused on delivery or marketplaces. The startup does not compete with restaurants but sells them technology to improve their operations. The predictability of recurring revenues also makes it more attractive to investors.
In 2026, the fund Manutara Ventures selected Menüpp along with six other Latin American startups —including Autoparti (Colombia), Getxerpa (Mexico), Delfi IA (Argentina), Brota (Brazil), and Kambia (Peru)— for an expansion programme to Miami. This selection is a boost to its ability to scale regionally and compete in more mature markets like the United States.
The context of the Colombian ecosystem also plays in its favour. According to the Colombia Tech Report 2025-2026, the food sector is one of the emerging verticals with the most traction. The Valle del Cauca, where Menüpp is based, houses 266 active startups, which is 12% of the Colombian tech ecosystem.
The trends driving startups like Menüpp include the adoption of AI applied to operations, the SaaS model over commissions, scalability from secondary hubs like Cali, and the B2B focus that avoids direct competition with large marketplaces.
For restaurants looking to optimise margins and personalise the customer experience, Menüpp represents a tool that goes beyond the digital menu: it is an operational intelligence system that promises to improve profitability with real data.
