The new shopping park in the La Montaña neighbourhood of Aranjuez is nearing completion with 98% of its space rented. The opening, scheduled for the last quarter of 2026, will generate over 350 direct and indirect jobs.

The shopping park being built in the La Montaña neighbourhood in Aranjuez is approaching the final stages of construction with 98% of the commercial space already rented, according to the developer Alerce Real Estate. The opening is expected in the last quarter of 2026 and will provide a significant boost to the local economy.

With over 20,000 square metres of gross leasable area, the complex will host top-tier operators such as Mercadona, Lidl, Decathlon, McDonald's, Norauto, JYSK, Burger King, Müller, Action, Max Colchón, Guaw, Kiabi, Skechers, Juguettos, and Izumo. This commercial offering will make it one of the most important attractions in the south of the Community of Madrid.

The developer has already begun handing over the premises to companies so they can start fitting out their establishments, keeping to the planned opening schedule. According to Alerce Real Estate, the project will generate over 350 direct and indirect jobs, establishing itself as one of the most economically impactful developments for Aranjuez in recent years.

The Aranjuez City Council has organised a Job Fair to help bring these job opportunities to local residents. The event will take place on September 24 at the Isabel de Farnesio Cultural Centre and will feature the participation of almost all the operators in the new shopping park.

“Almost all the operators that will be part of this new shopping park will be present at the Job Fair organised by the City Council. It will be an opportunity for residents to learn first-hand about the activities of these companies, their most sought-after professional profiles, and to submit their CVs for the selection processes that will take place in the coming months,” highlighted the Delegate for Economic Development and Employment, Ignacio Díaz.

The Job Fair is part of the municipal strategy to promote job insertion and bring job offers closer to the public, facilitating direct contact between companies and job seekers at a crucial time for the economic development of the city.

Residents of Aranjuez will be able to submit their CVs and learn about the profiles most in demand by companies, which will begin their selection processes in the coming months. Once opened, the shopping park will offer a wide variety of services and products, ranging from food and sports to fashion and dining.

With the opening of this complex, Aranjuez strengthens its commercial and leisure offerings, generating new job opportunities and boosting the local economy. The City Council hopes that the Job Fair on September 24 will be an important step for residents to access the jobs that will be created.
