At a recent seminar, the association's president, Nguyen Xuan Hung, emphasized that this collaboration seeks to have companies actively participate in organizing courses, hosting students for internships, and hiring workers. Coordination in research, application, and technology transfer is also contemplated, along with support through scholarships and equipment.
Hung pointed out that this is both a task and an opportunity for the association to better fulfill its role as a link, contributing to the development of human resources tied to the practical needs of companies.
During the seminar, companies and schools exchanged information on training needs and the use of human resources. They also discussed mechanisms to encourage greater business participation in curriculum design and research.
Delegates proposed lines of cooperation focused on jointly forecasting personnel needs and coordinating the development of training programs. The aim is to create mechanisms for training tailored to specific needs and the development of staff capabilities.
Dr. Le Hoang Ba Huyen, rector of Hong Duc University, made a presentation at the event. The parties agreed to initially select priority sectors in the province, such as the semiconductor industry, information technology, automation, logistics, tourism, high-tech agriculture, and the fields of green and digital transformation, to build pilot models.
The association, in collaboration with training institutions and companies, is creating a common database. This will collect information on human resources needs, professional internships, hiring, professional retraining, and demands for research and technology transfer.
Educational institutions will need to designate a point of contact to receive business needs, adjust programs and training methods, and identify research areas for collaboration. Employer satisfaction and the professional adaptability of students will be considered key measures of training quality.
