The mayor Juan Antonio Peña visited the facilities of B-Fit, a sports space opening at Arnao Street, 1, driven by young entrepreneurs Borja Méndez and Jorge Ramos.

Telde now has a new space dedicated to sports and wellness. This is B-Fit, a functional training centre opening its doors at Arnao Street, number 1, in the heart of the San Gregorio Open Commercial Zone. The initiative comes from young entrepreneurs Borja Méndez and Jorge Ramos, both with training and experience in the field of physical activity and health.

The project, presented under the slogan “Changing lives through movement”, offers functional training programmes, HIIT and mind-body wellness, tailored to people of all ages. The premises have been completely renovated by its promoters, who have transformed the space into a modern and welcoming centre.

The mayor of Telde, Juan Antonio Peña, visited the facilities to learn about the project firsthand and expressed his support for the entrepreneurs.

“The courage and enthusiasm of those, especially young people, who decide to start their own businesses and invest in Telde to develop their professional projects is admirable,”
said the mayor. Peña highlighted that
“every new business that opens contributes to the growth of our business and commercial fabric, energising our neighbourhoods and expanding the city's service offerings.”

The mayor also encouraged citizens to get to know the new centre and emphasised the commitment to health:

“Spaces like B-Fit promote wellness and health and offer alternatives for people of all ages to take care of themselves, stay active, and improve their quality of life.”

The official opening of B-Fit will take place this Saturday, August 1, with an open house from 10:00 to 12:00. Attendees will be able to explore the facilities, meet the team, and learn about the centre's philosophy in an atmosphere enhanced by music and a healthy breakfast.

“We want it to be a morning to share, get to know our space, and discover all that we can offer. A new place to move, take care of oneself, and transform lives through exercise,”
explain Méndez and Ramos.

With this opening, B-Fit joins the business fabric of Telde with the intention of becoming a local reference for physical activity and wellness. The Telde City Council has congratulated the promoters and reaffirmed its commitment to entrepreneurship and initiatives that drive the economic and commercial development of the municipality.

Residents of Telde interested in improving their physical condition or starting to exercise now have a new option in San Gregorio, a neighbourhood that continues to thrive with the arrival of new services.
