The Tourism Department of the municipality of Tres Arroyos has organised a schedule of proposals for the winter holidays that includes everything from guided tours to a gastronomic festival. The activities will take place between July 21 and 31, with both free and paid options available, and spaces are limited, so prior registration is required.
Free Tours and Historical Circuits
The schedule includes visits to locations such as San Mayol, Orense, Claromecó, San Francisco de Bellocq, Copetonas, Cascallares, and Reta. Most outings include free transport from Plaza San Martín. Additionally, historical circuits around the city, activities for children at the Mulazzi Museum and Plaza San Martín, and tours related to the Wheat Route have been planned.
A Urban Philosophy experience will also be offered, an activity that invites reflection on public space. The Tourism Department highlighted that the aim is to provide an opportunity to discover the natural, historical, cultural, and gastronomic richness of the district during the winter break.
Coastal Empanada Festival in Reta
On Sunday, July 26, the third edition of the Coastal Empanada Festival will be held in Reta, organised by the Municipal Delegation. The event will take place at the Amphitheatre and will combine gastronomy, a fair for entrepreneurs and artisans. The sale will be exclusive to empanadas, of the flavour chosen by each participant, and it is expected to establish this gathering as one of the most representative of the locality.
Those interested in participating as gastronomes, artisans, or entrepreneurs can register by calling Christian at 2983-343573 (for empanada sales) or Karina at 11 2506-1068 (for artisans and entrepreneurs). Additionally, a pre-sale of empanadas has been launched at 25,000 pesos per dozen to support the festival's organisation. Orders are accepted until Friday, July 24, and collection will be on Sunday, July 26, starting at 12 noon at the Amphitheatre.
