Eightco Holdings (NASDAQ: ORBS) has participated in the $52.5 million funding round of World Foundation, led by Pantera Capital. The company has detailed its treasury portfolio, which includes $90 million in OpenAI, 16,278 ETH, and nearly 302 million WLD tokens.

Eightco Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: ORBS) has announced its participation in the $52.5 million funding round of World Foundation, the entity behind World Network and World ID. The deal, closed on July 24, 2026, was led by Pantera Capital and involved participation from Bain Capital Crypto, Selini Capital, Susquehanna Crypto, and other investors.

The news comes at a time when World Foundation is celebrating its third anniversary, with over 39 million registered users on World Network and more than 18 million people verified through Orb. Since its launch, the network has processed over 475 million World ID identity proofs.

Eightco has taken the opportunity to update the composition of its treasury as of July 26, 2026. The company indirectly holds through an SPV $90 million in OpenAI shares; $18 million in Beast Industries; $1 million in Mythical Games; 301,971,219 Worldcoin (WLD) tokens valued at $0.36 each (according to Coinbase); 16,278 Ethereum (ETH); and approximately $142 million in cash and stablecoins. The total value of these holdings amounts to around $391 million.

Eightco's participation in World Foundation reinforces its commitment to the decentralised digital identity ecosystem and artificial intelligence. Sam Altman, co-founder of Worldcoin and CEO of OpenAI, recently stated that “the world is approaching a very powerful AI” and that World ID is a key effort to discern the interaction between humans and machines.

Tom Lee, a board member of Eightco, has positively evaluated the reduction of WLD token issuance, which began on July 24. “It halves the incremental supply, which should substantially improve the net balance between supply and demand for WLD and therefore supports the case for a better risk/reward relationship in prices,” he stated.

The context of the sector also plays in favour. On July 21, asset manager Grayscale filed a request with the SEC to launch the first US ETF linked to Worldcoin, a move that could attract institutional investors. On the same day, OpenAI announced the ChatGPT program for small businesses, and Franklin Templeton Digital Assets published a technical report titled “Agent AI: the key use case for blockchain and cryptocurrencies,” highlighting the role of blockchains in transactions between machines.

Additionally, OpenAI plans to build a data centre in Georgia with a capacity of 3.2 gigawatts, which will be delivered in phases between 2028 and 2032. Eightco, for its part, provides indirect exposure to these innovative private companies.

For investors, Eightco's portfolio offers a window into high-growth digital and technological assets. The reduction in WLD issuance and the potential Grayscale ETF are factors to watch closely. The company is listed on Nasdaq under the ticker ORBS and continues to diversify its treasury in the AI and blockchain ecosystem.
