The Chilean startup Nexor, founded in 2026, has closed agreements in Dubai, Miami and Singapore to expand its agent-based AI technology. The company is backed by the Andreessen Horowitz fund and generated $340,000 in its initial stage.
The Chilean artificial intelligence startup Nexor, founded in early 2026 by entrepreneurs Ian Lee, Gabriel Cid and Daniel Jiménez, has closed strategic alliances in Miami, Singapore and Dubai. The aim is to accelerate its expansion in these key markets for its AI agent technology focused on business management.
The announcement was made during a launch event attended by around 60 people, where it was also confirmed that the company will soon establish itself in San Francisco (USA) to participate in the a16z Speedrun acceleration programme, backed by Andreessen Horowitz. The startup is the first Chilean to be admitted to this programme, which has supported companies such as Facebook, Airbnb and GitHub.
Nexor has secured funding of $1.9 million, which includes backing from Andreessen Horowitz. The company has already generated initial revenue of $340,000 and projects to reach $10 million in the short to medium term, positioning it as one of the fastest-growing startups in Latin America.
Nexor's business model focuses on automating sales tasks traditionally performed by SDRs (Sales Development Representatives), executives or call centres. Its platform operates 24/7 autonomously, contacting leads, qualifying them, scheduling meetings, following up and closing opportunities through channels such as phone, WhatsApp, email and Instagram.
Unlike other players in the market, Nexor's agents use layers of reasoning, coordinate with each other and remember previous interactions, always taking into account the specific knowledge of each company. Data confidentiality is a fundamental pillar: each client works in an isolated and sealed environment, with information completely encrypted in transit and at rest, ensuring that conversations are never shared or used to train other AI models.
Gabriel Cid, co-founder of Nexor, highlighted during the event that the closing of international alliances, especially in the Middle East, along with the backing of a global fund like Andreessen Horowitz, validates the impact of their technology and allows them to accelerate internationalisation. In the local ecosystem, the platform is already known as 'the Claude of sales', referring to Anthropic's AI.
Nexor's rapid growth is supported by the track record of its founders. Ian Lee previously co-founded Examedi, a home health startup that raised $17 million in a Series A led by General Catalyst and reached a valuation close to $100 million. Gabriel Cid founded Capitalizarme.com, a real estate investment platform that has helped over 20,000 people and generated more than $2 billion in GMV. Daniel Jiménez, an expert in business strategy, was Expansion Manager at Capitalizarme and founder of RAB Inversiones, and leads the design of the sales functions of the agents.
The startup will participate in the Demo Day of the a16z Speedrun programme on October 6 in San Francisco, where it will present its technology to investors and potential clients. For companies with a high volume of prospects, Nexor offers a solution that connects directly with key metrics such as conversion and contact speed, preventing opportunities from being lost due to lack of operational capacity.
