Three young entrepreneurs have created BeeL.es, a fast invoicing software that already has 400 paying users. The tool arrives just before the entry into force of the Verifactu in January 2027.

Pau Valls, Carlos Martínez, and Roger Massana have launched BeeL.es, a startup that promises to revolutionise invoicing for freelancers and small businesses. The software, launched in October 2025, has already attracted over 400 paying users and aims to multiply that figure by six before the end of 2026.

A software born from accounting frustration

The idea arose when Pau Valls was working in an accounting office and realised that existing invoicing programmes were "outdated". Without IT knowledge, he sought a partner on LinkedIn and found Carlos Martínez, who along with Roger Massana had previously attempted to develop similar software without success. By joining forces, they managed to create a tool that, according to its creators, "gives you back your time".

The startup was formally established in March 2026, six months after the product launch. The name BeeL.es plays on the English word bill (invoice) and the .es domain, clearly indicating its focus on the Spanish market.

The Verifactu, BeeL.es's great ally

The entry into force of the Verifactu (system for issuing verifiable invoices) in January 2027 represents a golden opportunity for the startup. "Every company that receives a card payment will have to adapt to the new law, and this opens up a huge potential market for us," explains Roger Massana. The software is already prepared to comply with the regulations, saving users from having to update their systems at the last minute.

"We want freelancers and businesses to stop worrying about invoicing and whether they comply with regulations or not," adds Carlos Martínez. The proposal is clear: open the programme, issue the invoice, close it, and dedicate the saved time to growing the business.

So far, BeeL.es has managed to attract clients without resorting to external funding. The three co-founders have pushed the project forward with their own savings, without help from incubators or accelerators. Based in Vila-seca (Tarragona), the company is already operating throughout Spain.

For the interested reader, the practical question is: is it worth trying BeeL.es? With 400 paying users and a forecast of reaching 2,400 by the end of the year, the software seems to have found a niche. Moreover, with the Verifactu just around the corner, any freelancer or SME that has not yet updated their invoicing system should start looking for options. BeeL.es positions itself as an agile and uncomplicated alternative.

The entrepreneurs are confident that the combination of simplicity and regulatory compliance will allow them to grow organically. "We don’t need investors; our growth is based on word of mouth and user satisfaction," Valls assures. An approach that, at least for now, is working for them.
